The Royal University Hospital, Bath, are advertising a three day event, which provides a great opportunity for anyone seeking a potential career in medicine or as a health care professional. All interested students need to apply directly to RUH Bath (see Mr Davies for details) and there is a cost of £80 for the 3 day course, which includes lunch and refreshments. The 3 day programme will deliver an excellent insight to the world of health care and provide a unique experience for those involved. It will also provide a very positive addition to UCAS Personal Statement applications and CVs.

Please can we also take this opportunity to remind all parents, carers and students of the Medical Profession Career Assembly, to be held on Monday 21st March, in the drama hall. As previously advertise on the Marlwood 6th Blog and by email, the fortnightly career assemblies focus on different job sectors and career pathways. The Medical Profession assembly will be led by Simon Atkinson, Senior Lecturer in Medicine, University of Bristol Medical School from 8.40am to 9.10am and provide details on careers within the medical profession and also qualification requirements. The signup sheets for this and every career assembly are available on the 6th Form Career noticeboard, 6th form foyer and the career notice board in the school’s main corridor.
